About Mr Ayokunle Akinboyede
Ayokunle Akinboyede is a consummate Builder, Infrastructure, Construction Management Professional, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB) and the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (COBON).
He has 26 years of experience in successfully managing and delivering major public works and infrastructure development programmes both in the public and private sectors in Nigeria. He has also managed a wide range of projects across Nigeria.
Bldr. Ayokunle Akinboyede obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Building at the University of Ife, Nigeria and started his professional career in 1991 at Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, one of Nigeria’s foremost construction company.
While working with Julius Berger, he was involved in the construction of Abuja Ministry Buildings-which consisted of office complexes towers etc.
He also was involved in the construction of the Abuja International Airport (now called Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport). He completed the construction of both the First Phase (the terminal building, VIP Lounge, the runway fire station, linkroad, infrastructure works and the taxiway), and the Addendum part (the sewage system, water supply system, emergency power plant, NEPA station, security fence and many more infrastructural works) of the airport in 2001.
Bldr. Akinboyede also worked on the National Hospital for Women and Children Project and National Assembly Project (ANC), where he managed the commencement of the building of the House of Senate and House of Representative Office.
Bldr. Akinboyede also has a track record in extensive Financial and Risk Management and interacts and maintains relationships with the full spectrum of senior stakeholders in both public and private sector.
